I play this on the 360, it was one of my favorite games on the N64 but sold that to make room for other junk. As far as gameplay goes, it's almost identical to the original with some added bonuses (new decks, new levels). But it also has some drawbacks such as one of the options settings the Blur Motion is active every time I load my game so I have to go back and change it. For some reason the game saves the other settings but not that one as well as the game changes some minor features of the characters appearance. There are a couple of other hiccups but I can't think of what they are at the moment but for the most part you don't even notice them. I wish they used a working model of the TH5 Park Editor or whatever it was called on that particular game. It's my favorite thing about these games but on TH5 I couldn't get it to save properly. I'm happy to have this again and I may get TH3 and TH4 in the future.Read full review

I’ve been playing THPS since the original release in 1999 and spent the most time playing THPS 2. I picked this game up and Xbox and was hooked until I played it all the way through. It’s THPS 1 and 2 with 4 completely new levels. The graphics are a MASSIVE improvement over the originals and the game play is much smoother and more responsive. The only small gripes would be that the game is much easier than the originals and the Xbox controller layout isn’t quite as intuitive as PlayStation. Overall great game and great value.

Great game. To my generation this was a classic. I personally was introduced to this on Playstation 2. Like Grand Theft Auto 3 (and up) the cheats made the game even more fun (and easier), especially if you didn't want to sit and unlock everything one at a time. I've been an Xbox 360 guy ever since they released the system. A recent discussion with my buddies lead me to purchase the original Xbox version of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2x. It was everything I remembered. The only downfall is the cheats were made to be used with an original Xbox controller. So if you can't find some other way to do cheats with the 360 controller, you will either have to purchase an adapter (and also an original xbox controller if you didnt already have one) and try that, or you'll be stuck doing it the old fashion way. Graphics still look decent especially with the 360's HD cables. Just simply still a classic game.Read full review
It was in great shape. I've missed this game. I had it many years ago and then I lost it.😔 So it's nice to have it again. Thank you very much.🤗🤗

When the Xbox launched, there was too little time for a port of the brand new "next gen" overhauled THPS3 in time for Christmas, so Hawk 1 & 2 (with a few exclusive levels) were slapped together on one disc with a port of the THPS2 engine. The result is very cool, if not more than a bit dated now. Thankfully they kept this concept alive by randomly inserting old levels from previous releases as unlockable content on each progressivly updated engine.
