    The original blues master.

    This is a fantastic compilation of Robert Johnson's recordings. I beleive there is a similar album out with more recordings which are alternate cuts of the songs on this one, which i haven't heard. I bought this after reading a Led Zeppelin biography which discussed Johnson's influence on their music. If you are a fan of Elmore James/Jeff Beck/Clapton/Yardbirds/Led Zep/Rolling Stones and other bands of this genre/era, this is a fantastic cd that shows where it all started. A great piece of history. One man and his guitar that changed music forever. A must for Blues fans.

    not really the complete collection but good

    this is for the real back porch blues lover nothing but real old blues.robert johnson influenced so many blues artists right upto the present day blues players.like so many other greats he died very young and we will never know what he could have done in the blues world had he lived so much longer.if nothing else buy it out of respect for a leader in the blues world.

    Robert Johnson Best Of CD

    If you like old blues, then this is the one for you. I really enjoyed it, perhaps a little bit of gospel in there, but excellent. Great to hear the original man himself, many of his tunes have been covered. Worth the money.
