During these early years the band recorded a number of 7 inch's, if you were fortunate enough to get your hands on one of these early recordings, you've got yourself a collectors item. For the rest of US there's this CD. a rare document of one of punk rock most loved bands that will take you to the back of the barbershop and beyond. it's ok
this is not at all what I expected. I ordered this cd expecting to hear songs along the same vein as barroom heroes (with a little Irish flair and maybe some bagpipes) but what I ended up getting is just a run of the mill, cookie cutter "punk" band. I am not impressed. I saw them live about 9 years ago and this doesn't sound anything like what I heard back then. I'ts almost as though they're trying to appeal to a mass market instead of making unique music.this is not at all what I expected. The Singles Collection
The songs are good as usual from DKM, but the quality of the recordings (some are from their early vinyl releases) are only okay. I recommend you get the newer releases with the re-releases of the older tracks. But, if you are an old school DKM fan like me, this is really cool.
