Too soon to evaluate whether it's genuine or not
it's unfortunate that so many "NEW IN BOX" cartridges now are actually refills that have been repackaged. I haven't used this cartridge yet. I bought it because I was doing a large print job and was concerned that my existing cartridge wasn't going to be able to complete the task, but now it's done and my existing one still hasn't quite run out of ink yet. I did load the cartridge just to check it, it appears to be full of ink and doesn't appear to leak. Although it did come sealed in the box, the sides of the cartridge itself have what may be fingerprints or other impressions on them that might indicate it was previously used. Regarding recommendations, when you have a printer that requires the use of a specific cartridge, you don't really have the luxury of recommending one product ... it's unfortunate that so many "NEW IN BOX" cartridges now are actually refills that have been repackaged. I haven't used this cartridge yet.
