missing software but still usable
the ipico configuration software says its for devices running ios 7.0 or latter but curiously did not install on my iphone 4_ but may be able to install on 4s ,(TRY INSTALLING SOFTWARE BEFORE PURCHASE) surprisingly I was able to project NETFLIX, HULU and videos installed on my devices, "ipod 4 ios6.1 and iphone 4 ios7.1" it even pojected my photos using slideshow without the software. Setback: take to long to charge (5 to 6 hours) and the battery lasts about 90min. Projector works on some products, review with your product before you buy.
This gadget would not work with the phones it was purchased to work on and instead worked on older model iTouch products, so unfortunately, about all I can say is, be sure that whatever you are purchasing one of these to work on, that it really will before you buy. It is a great idea, but disappointing after purchase to find out that it would not work on latest model products. Do not buy this!
Do not buy this. The software for this is no longer available on the App Store and can only be obtained from downloading from untrust worthy sites or if your phone is jailbroken putting your phone at risk.

Awesome! At a fraction of the original price. No regrets
Much better than I imagined, for the ebay price. My daughter is having a blast watching cartoons on her bedroom ceiling! Best Christmas present ever, she'd never understand how little I paid. Luckily, she has an older (30 pin) ipod touch for which this product is matched.

The best I used it a lot I watch video out of internet or my videos and movies in you tube...i watch at night when dark and project on the white wall. Great product...
