Much better than my older model Epson Projector but limitations as to how far away the unit must be from the screen. Before I could place the unit all the way across the room- this unit because of zoom limitations must be a max of 85" - 108" away from my roughly 96" screen making it hang from the ceiling more in the middle of the room. Functionality of network connection is nice too, but I haven't been able to figure out how to be on web and connected wirelessly to the unit- might just be me and my setup... Overall a GREAT unit- tremendous picture quality at a good price!!!

Product not great if you have a large media room, it does not connect well to surround sound as the only ports you can use is the hdmi. The rca ports are for audio in only

Great projector. Such a beautiful picture and so easy to size to a screen. It’s also one of the only projectors that’s between a short throw and an ultra short throw so I can have a 120” screen from only 10’ feet away. The only con is no audio outs (what were they thinking?).

Wow! Blown away by quality of image and the product itself. Image quality is on par with my other Epson Forgot mode but was roughly 800 dollars

I bought this projector (used)...to replace a working Epson 2030 unit. The 2030 was rated at 2000 lumens...the 1060 is rated at 3100...WHAT a DIFFERENCE! Due to the screen being located in a room with large windows, I was forced to operate the 2030 in the brightest mode, which caused the fan to be LOUD and the bulb life was shortened. By replacing the 2030 with the 1060...The window light issue and loud fan were COMPLETELY eliminated.... The 1060 is an EXECELLENT up grade! I know others have commented on the sound being an issue,.....but IF you can use the 1060 with a AVR such as Denon, Marantz or Pioneer....with JUST a HDMI cable....the sound will be through your home speaker system and NOT the 10 watt speaker in the 1060 unit its self. I LOVE this projector....the bulbs are VERY inexpensive..( even buying from the Epson web site...($59.00). The unit is very lite (under 6 lbs.), easy to install....in fact.....the pattern is the same as the 2030..(took five minutes to replace the unit to the ceiling mount. This unit gets a 5 star thumbs up from an Epson customer... Read full review
