Great collection of music, excellent score, highly collectable
You get the original release and two more CDs of extra tracks. Some tracks might be different takes on music from the first CD but that's okay. You'll get tracks and extras that don't appear in the original film(s), and unreleased materials I guess. Ridley Scott once told Vangelis Blade Runner is the best score he'd ever written to which Vangelis was not sure about (scuze my gramma, you know what I mean). Yeah, well, Ridly, if it was his best music why didn't you use it? There's so much beauty in Vangelis score and a lot of it went un-used in Scott's film. Music could have been re-named and placed in different places in the film, and it would have been a much better film. Not to speak of the shots that could have been removed from Scott's film. And when you listen to it, think of neon lights, darkness, acid rain, and flying cars.

Blade Runner
Love the movie and it's soundtrack is very relaxing and snoothing. The music makes you feel like you're in the entering the future how the world has changed and technology is more advanced than ever with computers,flying cars,and the city. Even on a rainy day it's more relaxing because it relates with the movie because some of the scenes shows it raining also as well. I like the cd because it really relaxes the mind and body if you listen closely and perfect music for getting a massage as well.Love the movie and it's soundtrack is very relaxing and snoothing. Blade Runner Tilogy CD 25th
I bought the Blade Runner 25th Anniversary CD first and foremost because I am a fan of the movie and everything about it. Generally the CD is very good. I was a little disappointed in the newer tracks that Vangelis released for this collection. Most didn't give me that Blade Runner feeling that the movie music offered. All in all it is a good collection and all fans of the movie should own it. Most great sound scores become valuable collectors items down the road due to their low release counts and they soon disappear from the store shelves like this one will.I bought the Blade Runner 25th Anniversary CD first and foremost because I am a fan of the movie and everything about it. Good music, nice remaster, folding paper case.
I both enjoy Blade Runner and Vangelis so I wanted a nice collection of the music from both. The CD collection is great, the remastered soundtrack is really as it should be now, not like the first copy. Well I guess the tiles of the CDs are pretty long and the folsing paper sleeve feels bit cheap, but it is only gonna be sitting on s shelf. Well to be honest this CD is as good as any other I have.
