Yeah i know, the score of 3 out of 5 doesn't match the title, but there is a good reason for that, because even though i LOVE! the design and especially the s-pen of my Samsung s22 ultra, and do mind i am coming from a Samsung s21 ultra! there are still some things i find very disappointing with my new s22 ultra and is the reason why i didn't give it a full mark. Exynos 2200.... I really wanna support Samsung in their SOC endeavor like i did last year with the s21 ultra, and this time i was really excited with the news of AMD joining Samsung just to be very disappointed with the actual product, which shows a very slight increase in performance compared to last years Exynos 2100 and with the results compared to those of Apple's Iphone's it seems like Samsung is still miles away from catching up. LET IT BE KNOWN! that even though the performance isn't on pair with Apple's Iphone's that i have never had a problem with my s21 or s22 ultra that i would blame on the SOC performance. Battery life.... Since i didn't get the performance i was hoping for with the new Exynos 2200, i was then hoping for an improvement in the battery life of the s22 ultra compared to the s21 ultra, and i am sorry to say that i don't see a difference, it's just as bad, if not worse, having my phone going from 91% battery to 75% during the night while having "always on display" turned on is just unacceptable and makes the function useless more or less. Heat.... Yep, it still get's hot in various situations like during an update, having the camera on for too long, during wireless charging, gaming too much THOUGH! i find that it is not as severe as with the s21 ultra and isn't as much as a bother as with last years model. "Cheap" raddling sound.... of all the things that disappoints me the most, this got to be the most annoying/disappointing "note" about the phone xD When "shaking" the phone you can hear a loud and cheap raddling sound, and on the s22 ultra it's even worse than on the s21 ultra. Yes, i know it's because of the OIS system in the camera housing, but other phone manufactures have the same system and quality without the "raddling" sound, please fix this, it doesn't belong on a +1000$ phone. ALL IN ALL this is a fantastic phone, if you have an older android or iPhone i def. recommend the switch, also if you have a newer phone with a good resale value, and you like the s-pen i can also rec. the switch. Samsung, i would love to give this device a 5/5, but i feel like, just like the score, that we are only 60% there, for me to give it a full mark i would need the dilemmas mentioned above to solved before i would be able to give it aRead full review
