    Expensive but more metal and less plastic than other sanders.

    Powerful, a bit heavy but seem slower than expected. Tried it with the included sand belt and with a 40 grit belt. Worked consistently well with both. It's rated at 1450 feet per minute, I have no way to measure this but it did seem a bit slower than I expected. The belt wandered and I was able to adjust it with the nob but it still wander if any side pressure was applied. It's expensive but I'm hoping that it will be more reliable than the cheaper sanders. I haven't used the dust bag but will be using it outdoors.

    good tool

    seems to be a strong machine to last a long time. No belt sander is balanced because the blower mechanism on the side creates this and one has to develop the ability to compensate, the natural process when using a belt sander.
