    Tug It, Rest It, Love It

    Well, it's a tug bar/thumb rest, depending on your playing style and where you position it on your bass. I play like Sting and/or Brian Wilson (physically anyway), so I use it as a tug bar. The enclosed templates assume you'll be using it as a thumb rest so you'll have to look at pics of vintage Fender basses to get an idea of where to place it as a tug bar. Works very well and a genuine Fender part for my genuine Fender bass.

    Made of plastic

    I was under the mistaken impression that this was made of wood like the original 1968 model I have. But it is plastic. Not a big deal, but a little disappointing. Probably my own fault.
