      Upgraded fixture eliminates short in the old type of switch which came with the car.

      This was an upgraded light fixture for my 2008 Mazda Tribute (Ford Escape) which no longer would turn on when the doors were opened. This one has no main switch but does have the reading light switches which takes care of the short in the old model. This fixture has a nice dimming feature whereas the old one just was on or off.

      Exactly what I needed

      I'm a long time Ford owner and watching some repair videos led me to this purchase. My interior light hasn't been working for so long, I was used to it being dark. The was a perfect fit for my 2009 Ford Escape.
