This double feature pairs up the two theatrical features based on Steptoe & Son, which was voted the #1 comedy in UK television history and provided the basis for the US television series Sanford & Son, starring Redd Foxx. In STEPTOE & SON (1972), father Albert does his best to prevent Harold from getting a quickie marriage to a stripper. Then, in STEPTOE & SON RIDE AGAIN (1973), Harold needs to think fast after spending his father's savings on a greyhound that has no chance of ever winning a race.
