      This makes number two in operation

      I have had the first unit in operation for I don’t know maybe 5 years. Fan went out on this unit so I just mounted a usb powered fan on the outside of case and drilled more holes in it. Unit still going strong today. My old pyramid supply goes out so time to order #2. Please to see the new unit has upgraded fan. This new unit fan seems loud but not a deal breaker. If it last like the older one has, I will be extremely happy.

      Nice power supply

      Power supply works good and seems to be well made. Unfortunately I could not use it on my amateur radio due to increased rf noise it produced. I think it would be a good power supply for anything other than powering an amateur or cb radio.

      Love It

      I know these are targeted to HAM and CB base station folks, but I bought this to enable me to hook up some LED lights on the outside of my shop. My unit arrived damaged from shipping, but despite the bent case the thing works like a charm. I really like the fact that the voltage is adjustable (just turn the set screw, and a tiny turn makes a big jump in voltage). The thing provides good clean power, meaning I had no humming from my lights nor the Galaxy DX99 that I tested it with. Because a better lighting system has dropped into my lap, I may not be using this for my original intended purpose, but I'm still happy to have it, as it will come in handy for running any of my DC powered devices (radio, chargers, etc) at home.

      Great power supply

      Read all the reviews on eham, qrz and Amazon before buying. Any concerns about the fan, quality or design were unfounded. Either people are clueless or it was an older version...this power supply is awesome, especially for the price. It replaced two other switching supplies that died and cost twice the price. Runs relatively quiet, great support from the seller and has a two year warranty. Mine is 36 amps...more than enough for my HD station. Not to mention 2 extra terminals to run accessories. You'd be a damn fool not to buy it.

      Good high current switcher supply

      This 36 amp power supply seems well made and has run nicely for 3 hours so far. The fan is not very loud. The only issue is that the output voltage terminal screws are really too small for such a high current unit. You can barely attach 12AWG wires to the terminal screws, and the standard crimp on spade lugs for 14 or 12 AWG wire are WAY too big to fit on the small terminal screws.
