The transmitter has a user replaceable 3v CR2 battery and when installed to your regulators 7/6″ threaded high pressure (HP) port with provide the computer with the following unique features.

Solid way to manage tank pressure...
These are manufactured by Pelagic Systems they are compatible with: Shearwater, USdivers (later models), Oceanic, Aqualung (later models), Hollis ... All HP transducers should be used with a short HP hose and a "Flanged High Pressure Spool." The flexible hose protects the transducer from damage when deck hands "Help you up" onto the boat....It is common to grab for the tank valve and just as common for one to miss and grab you transducer. Lifting by the transducer will damage it. Good product; failing to protect against accidents will cause sudden failures on your dive trips. I have had my first one for 24 years and over 3000 dives without failure.
