The seller did a great job. The dvd was wrapped with care and shipped quickly. The dvd however is very overpriced. The previous DVDs in this series were a 10 dvd pack. Eight of the DVDs were about the series and two DVDs were nonsense. This pack included two DVDs that were the actual series and two DVDs that were nonsense. Like I said in the start, seller did a GREAT job.

Francine Rivers does a fantastic job writing absorbing stories with accurate history. When I read her books, I learn a lot of history as her characters live it. I loved the Mark of the Lion series (3 books). The story opens in Jerusalem in the year 70 AD, with the Roman general Titus laying siege to Jerusalem and destroying it. The story follows a young Christian teenager as her family is slaughtered and she is carried into a life of slavery in Rome. The first 4 chapters or so are very violent and graphic, with people being burned, raped and pillaged, so it is tough going at first. Once Hadassah reaches Rome, things calm down a bit and you get a view of Roman society. It isn't a pretty picture, but the story is absorbing and Hadassah's witness through tough experiences is inspiring. ...
