      Accurate, quality indoor/fridge thermometer

      This thermometer appears well-constructed, with a clear easy-to-read display. The batteries are simple to install in both units. The fridge transmitter is a little bulkier than I thought it would be, but both units read within 0.5ºC of one another when in the same location. No problem receiving the temperature in my fridge and freezer from 5 m away.

      Ordinary.

      For a wireless thermometer it's not bad. Fairly accurate. The sender is compact and discrete. However the display/receiver loses connection with the sender approx 40-50% of the time. Using it in camp where there is clear line of sight to the fridge shouldn't be a problem. I will however get a wired thermometer to put in the cab to monitor the fridge temp while driving.

      Works really well. Great range.

      Easy to set up. I wasn't sure if the sender was waterproof or not so I vacuum-sealed it in a bag and it works a treat. Great range. I have it in my metal-skinned car 'fridge located at the far end of the house in the carport and it has no problem picking the signal up. Very happy with it.

      Easy set up with clear display

      A great little product purchased for our caravan fridge. The display is in large font and is easy to read. So far it has been extremely accurate also. The only improvement I could see would be a back-lit display for after dark, but hey, just turn the light on.

      No max/min display :)

      Less accurate than previous Evacool brands I've owned which were within 0.5 degrees (this unit 1 to 2 degree error between transmitter and sensor - but this is its claimed tolerance). Won't read ambient below zero and does not give maximum and minimums so you can't see the refrigerators cyclic performance or how hot or cold the day/night was. Does the job of telling you the current temperatures.
