Synopsis
Whether you're a parent planning to pass on a cottage to your children, someone who has inherited a cabin with your siblings or other relatives, or someone who is thinking about buying a vacation home, you want to know how to keep the property in the family--and avoid squabbles over it. This book tells you how. You'll find out how to: . Prevent a family member from forcing a sale of the cottage . Keep your cottage out of the hands of in-laws and creditors . Develop a legal structure to take care of the business of ownership, freeing you and your family to enjoy your precious time at the cottage . Make a smooth transition from one generation's ownership to the next. Saving the Family Cottage explains the problems that almost always pop up when family members with different interests and financial situations inherit a vacation home together. And it offers solutions for families who want to preserve this valuable asset for generations to come.

Book exactly as specified, rapid international delivery (USA to UK), and a reasonable price for an out-of-print book. Many thanks for that. In particular, I appreciated the good quality packaging for the book. It arrived in a cardboard box, and inside, it had paper to pad out the box, plus a thin plastic cover to further protect the book. This meant the book survived international shipping in great condition. On that basis, I highly recommend this seller.

The book was exactly as described. Near perfect condition. I’m loving reading all Jacques Pepin’s tips. The seller was extremely helpful. I, inadvertently, entered the wrong shipping address. I sent a message to the seller with the correct address. They answered me the next day saying not to worry they would change it. The book arrived quickly in a box cushioned with brown stuffing paper. The book itself was carefully wrapped in heavy white protective paper. I highly recommend them.

Definitely not as old as what was listed. It was labeled as a book from 1873 but its from 1920. The 1873 date was listed as a note from the author. The book mentions copy right act of 1909. It’s in good condition and quick shipping by the seller. It was packaged well and definitely worth the price paid.
