  • When the English Aliens Came

The English music invasion were the best of times in America. This album is a time machine to the "when" America was a nation of do'ers. A world United to accomplish Peace and Love. Not to marvel at the Stars, but to go there, Not a era of welfare and the present day culture music has little messaging besides violence and murder towards the very organization's that are the enforcers of the Republic's Laws. This musical time machine signs about soul and the greatest of virtues. This was the period when America was at a height of feeding the world with only 300,000,000 AMERICANS. When Africa was starving the Moody Blues were there exposing the virtues of personal contact and an open hand.....not a hand out and then bomb the American Embassy and hijack the airplane that feeds you. The Moody Blues listen and escape to the past.

  • Great

This album is worth the cost if only for the "plus five" songs placed after the live tracks. The concert portion does not have the best sound quality. It's not unlistenable rather it just suffers from the available recording equipment in 1969. The "plus five" songs are only available on this album if I'm not mistaken and are quite good.
