How love can help.
The most enthralling, sad, gutsy humorous book I have ever read.A true story of how love can make life bearable. Sad that both the author and her wonderful husband have both recently died.

What a fantastic story and insight into how life can change overnight. How two people can overcome great loss to come out on top in the end. I experienced every emotion reading this. Made me come away appreciating what I have and to take care of those people I love.

Wild, thought provoking and engaging!
Fabulous read of long distance walking, dramatic West country coastline and homelessness... not a subject one would think makes a good book, but it's brilliantly written and the author deserves recognition for portraying their experience in every honest detail. The book would make a wonderful film!

A wonderfully written account of triumph over adversity. Raynor’s style is easy to read, and I was swept along with the tale, willing them both to make it. Can’t wait to see if the film does this fabulous story justice.

Inspirational
A truly inspirational story of a couple who refused to be beaten by homelessness and ill health. Well written with beautiful descriptions of the scenery around them as well as their innermost feelings. I was sad when the book came to an end when they had completed the whole of the South West Path, but pleased it had a happy ending.
