    This is a very well written series. I've really enjoyed the development of the characters first introduced in Breaking Bad -- Saul and Mike. This promises to be worth following in subsequent years. Season two starts on February 15. So, get going if you want to see this one.

    Don't Believe All The Hype

    There is a lot of hype regarding Better Call Saul. If you have seen, Erin Brochovich, Then you have seen the premise for this 10 part selection. Don't get me wrong, I was a huge fan of Breaking Bad and I have waited for this to hit DVD.. Needless to say, this is Not Breaking Bad and the show in general was a let down, Seriously. I must say that I too believed the hype (by the production company and spin doctors) and we have all been led to believe that this is the greatest thing to hit television since before and after Breaking Bad. It Is Not. While the main caricature (Jimmy/Saul) is portrayed as the lead up to breaking bad, the story drags at times with many scenes that are just to boring to not fast forward through.     You had "Better Call Saul"!

    I loved Saul in Breaking Bad but the back story is fantastic. The creators are taking their time in developing the characters and story and everyone in the household is totally hooked. Saul and Mike are great and the rest of the characters are thoroughly developed as well. Best new show on TV!

    The attorney from Breaking Bad, before Breaking Bad

    This story centers around the Saul Goodman character from Breaking Bad before Breaking Bad and as a new attorney. some of the familiar characters from Breaking Bad are here including Tuco and the Mike character played by Johnathan Banks. Johnathon Banks can carry a whole scene and leave you stunned at the end by the portrayals. Vince Gilligan's style shows through just as in Breaking Bad with unexpected twists and skewed humor. All in all well worth watching, and I have ordered season two.
