Fixed in place with a hot glue gun and now it works perfectly. It's a real time saver and I wish I'd bought one sooner. I've used it to tidy up partially used balls as well as hanks from a yarn swift and it's great for both. Excellent seller - good communication and fast delivery. Highly recommended.

The wire part that holds the yarn as you crank doesn't hold where it's supposed to, so I have to hold that with one hand and crank with my other hand at the same time. Also if you plan to wind more than 50g at a time, or wind handspun yarn, maybe get a different model, as this one isn't great with large amount or variegated yarn. Decent for the price, but doesn't quite work for what I need
