The vendor advised that the voice function cannot be turned off despite the doco saying that it can. Also, checked the accuracy against our OMRON arm cuff and the device proved to be inaccurate. The device now has a home in the bin and I will pay the extra and stick with a known brand like OMRON. The product itself appears to be well made and inexpensive but this amounts to nothing if it is not accurate.
