      Training wheels

      These training wheels are great quality, heavy duty. I’ve only used these on Giant Animator 12 & 16 inch kids bikes that have a decent amount of axle thread to bolt through the training wheel assembly. The design is great as they lock into the frame and do not flip up if they get caught. I did have to slide off the plastic frame guard and use an angle grinder to remove some of the material for a nice snug fit.

      Heavy duty, oversize

      This product requires that the end bolts on the back wheel extend at least 15mm or you will have problems with the thickness of the product in bolting the stabilisers back on. Also, unless your frame has narrow tubes that fit within the arm clamp you will have to do some severe ironmongery to get the arms to fit due to the heavy duty nature of the product. I had problems with both, and wasted my money. I will try to use plastic clamps to fix the problem temporarily.
