Might work for minor inguinal hernias, but not mine.
I couldn't get the thing tight enough; considering the range of bodily motion and the size of my inguinal breach, it always managed to pop out and then be trapped. This could be user error, but after several tries ending in such constriction, I gave up. I'm planning on having the operation next month. If my doctor approves I'll use this while healing for extra support. If not, maybe I'll make a slingshot out of it.

This works well on a mild direct inguinal hernia (slight swelling). It could use more adjustment range but the price is great.
