This is one of the best for all time.

One of my favorite movies of all times. Maybe women could take a lesson or two from this one, especially the women of the woke variety.

    Disappointed

Taylor and Burton, I thought it would be great acting even if the story was hockey. Wrong. Taylor wasn’t up to the standard of Richard Burton who of course brought his talent as a Shakespearean actor to this film even if at times he tried to rise to a comedic level that wasn’t comedic. Productions from this time were all sets and it looks just like that. Just expected more.

  • An all time classic

Stellar performances by the pair of great actors, and an incredible cameo appearance by Michael York. Franco Zeffirelli at his best. A great Shakespearian slapstick. Some feminists might misread it, they can write their complaints to the Bard.

  • Yeah the title fits her character to the tee

Totally loved the movie. It was so much fun to watch Dame Elizabeth Taylor just tear through her character. it was total fun. This was just one of the movies that Dame Elizabeth Taylor could act.

  • This is by far the best version of "Tami...

This is by far the best version of "Taming" I have ever seen, whether on stage (Old Vic/Royal Shakespeare, etc.). I'm glad I was never with Dick and Liz when they were having a real fight!

  • Great classic film

DVD and case were in excellent condition, movie played flawlessly. Video quality as expected (so-so) for a movie filmed in the 60's in Italy, despite being "digitally remastered".

  • How to tame a woman

A W. Shakespeare play produced by Richard Burton and Liz Taylor. A fine and extravagant acting.
