    Life changer

    This book is so easy to read and hard to put down. The science is explained in a way that is accessible to all. The stories illustrate well the points Bessel is putting across. If u have trauma for any reason or work with people who have then this book is a must. It is very enlightening and validating. It will stay on my bookshelf. I have underlined relevant parts, post it noted etc etc. Very happy I found it.

    A great insight into how Traumatic events effect our brain and our body.

    Learning how the different areas of our brain process information and how this effects our decision making process was very beneficial to me. I now understand how traumatic events can have a huge impact on this process.
