    I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a home router so I got the Belkin AC1200 router. The WiFi signal is not that great, but considering adding an router extender to assist in signal strength and dead spots.

    Bad router.

    I dont know if it ws the exact router I got, but this thing drops signals every couple hours, slows down my speeds about a third slower. Unfortunately, had to switch back to my old router to not have to deal with the headaches anymore.

    Bad investment

    My son is very computer literate and he was going to hook it up but it has a lot of steps to hook it up.lt isn't a easy piece to hook up. I can hook up a lot of things like ear buds, Bluetooth speakers. But this I can't. So I wouldn't ever buy this or any other piece.

    Belkin AC1200 Does the Job for Me

    I needed a router that would stay connected. My Belkin N300 was six years old, andjust wouldn't stay connected. The Belkin AC1200 does the job and stays connected. The price was great, the router was quite easy to install and get working, and shipment was quick.

    Great within it's range

    I bought this to replace a very old router that kept dropping signal and did cover my whole house. This solved the stability issues however be sure you are purchasing a router that would cover the rang of your home. I have since ordered a Belkin range extender to compliment this product.

    Belkin Makes A Good Affordable Router

    I support a church with a large campus. As such, I use several routers (mostly as access points) from various manufacturers. Lately, I have used all Belkin routers (150, 300, 450, 1200, and 1600). They all use a common admin screen making them easily configured and are less expensive than their competitors. When one failed (450), I called Belkin support and they tried to fix it over the phone. Since we couldn't resolve the problem, they sent a replacement. It's great to deal with a company that still stands behind their products.

    Trouble connecting

    I was able to connect to my 2 laptops but not to my phones or ipad. I contacted Belkin and they were not able to connect me after 1 1/2 hr on the phone with them. Also there wasn't a cd to help with setting up my products so had to do it manually.
