As Philly moves from summer camp to training center and finally to an independent group home, BEST BOY becomes a stark but tender portrait of a family confronting life's impermanence and change. Best boy! Best man!
This is a heartwarming true story about a man who has been mentally challenged since birth. It follows his progress from dependency upon his parents to a much fuller life. This documentary has received many awards.
