    Oldie but Goodie

    My old printer had brand-new ink when it quit; therefore, I wanted another that would use the same ink cartridges. I failed to notice that the MP240 was NOT compatible with our computerr. Nephew was smart and knew how to get the drivers downloaded to help the MP240 bond with our computer. Then I just needed to run some error correction program (that I found by accident) and the job was done. Now the computer and MP240 are great friends and work well together.

    Canon pixma 250 printer.

    The printers compartment where you put cartridges is ok. It prints but it's not dark enough. The black print is not working at all. I press black button it prints in color. The color prints lightly. But it's ok as long as I can see what I printed.

    I am so happy to find a new MP240! I love my old one - and I just couldn't get it to clear an error message. I didn't know if this one would work without having to reload software, but I plugged it in, and it works without redoing the driver on my computer. Thank you!

    it's an old printer but works ok

    1. had no installation disc so had trouble installing the printer 2. do not re-call seeing that this printer was coming from CANADA otherwise would not have bid on it 3. Rt. side control fascia panel was not attached - loose, attaching tabs broken "off"
