    I've been collecting this series since it begun but it's only available in America and it's so expensive for shipping that I missed a few years. It was great to find the ones I wanted from a seller that combined postage. Still a lot of money, but a little more affordable. It was just as described, in an sturdy packaging box & came within the time quoted. The only thing I would say, & it's not the seller's fault, but prepare yourself for a long wait.     Very good hand puppet

    We bought this for a preschool classroom. We've only had it 2 weeks but so far, it's been well received by kids. It fits my medium-sized adult (womens) hands well but it's small enough for children aged 3-4 to manipulate. If you have very large hands, it might be tight. We also purchased the Folkmanis baby otter, baby Dutch bunny and baby raccoon -- they are all about the same scale (approx 10" long) so they relate well together in puppet shows. We have no experience yet on durability or cleanability.

    New design is so disappointing.

    I have used the black bear cub with hundreds of children over many years, replacing the bear puppet as it wore out from daily use. This new design is awful. The bear is much bigger, less flexible and not half as appealing. Its snout is too long and the glove is too big and clunky. Its ears are not perky and it is brown rather than black. I miss the old puppet!
