Yamaha YXZ1000R rearview mirror
This mirror is made in China. I would have expected Japan or U.S.A. There are plenty of good Made in the U.S.A. mirror options out there, and I would choose them over this model. I expected better from a Yamaha factory licensed part. The mirror is much bigger than a standard automotive rear view mirror and with a convex lens, so the field of vision is huge. It also takes up quite a bit of space, blocking some vision through the windshield. Installation instructions were poor and didn't even specify which direction to mount the asymmetric bracket. I had to pull mine off after it was half installed and flip it around to position it to my liking. Seemed to work good once installed. It didn't vibrate excessively or loosen up after 100 miles of hard riding.
