Great product
Product works well with 2 dogs. The three different types of stimulation (tone, vibration, shock) have been found to be quite useful. Vibration mode works well for one of my dogs and no shock is needed. The adjustable settings (0-99) for vibe and shock are great. The transmitter remembers the level setting for each of the modes, so there's no need to readjust the level when changing modes. Appreciate being able to recharge versus changing batteries. Works well when it stays together
I recommend it because when it stays together it's a good product. For us it hasn't worked so well. We have two pups who constantly tussle and end up tearing each other's collars off or even the electronic device off the collar. Don't have to buy batteries all the time
PetSafe has a bit of a racket going on, but they have excellent customer service. This is the 4th replacement collar I have bought for our dogs over the years, and I like that I don't need to keep buying batteries. There's a way to turn the collar on and off, so I don't have to take the batteries out after each use to conserve battery power. It's very easy to use and comes with the charger (for 2 collars). Wish they'd come up with this years ago. The real test will be how does it last. The other collars last about a year of regular use in my experience, with several battery changes (since we don't use the electric fence a lot). Lightweight and rechargeable
I have a SportDog Underground fence and needed two more collars. Although the SportDog collar is solid, it is bigger than I wanted. So, I found out that Pet Safe makes SportDog and many of their collars work with the SportyDog system. This collar is not only small and compact, it is rechargeable. It is very easy to use and works on my large golden retrievers. So far, I've had these collars for nearly one month and they are still on my first charge. 2nd time purchasing
This worked so well on our dogs, we had to buy a second one so that we could stop rotating the first. We have 3 dogs and the neighbor’s dogs who like to bark back n forth with each other... only complaints: cartridges don’t last long and that cost adds up fast, and, they don’t lock securely enough so they have been able to pop the cartridges out of each other’s collars while out in the yard - crazy, but true!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
