    Vintagey Plastic!

    This thing is great because it's hard to find tape players these days, though they're making a comeback. This player is just like the one I had as a kid (1970's) only made out of cheapish plastic. For the $$ it's not bad - it works anyway. And it has an internal mic as well as the external one that comes with it.

    Cheaply made garbage

    Not even five minutes after opening it was plugged in the door of the recorder was attempted to lift but it would not lift it was stuck a few attempts was tried and then I gave it to my sister and it just broke off and my hands I still try to play one of the tapes that I wanted to hear and it stopped in the middle of taping when I shut it off to take the tape out it was caught up in the machinery and pop my tape. When you push the buttons down they don't go all the way down have to push harder than normal to keep it down for $36 this is a rip-off I asked for my money back I sent them pictures and I still have not received the refund will never purchase from this buyer again cheaply made not worth the money spent

    Great little player

    My husband loves listening to his old cassettes on this player! I love that he can use his headphones with it, lol. Also love that you can plug into the wall instead of just batteries.

    I recommend

    It's easy to record, but i don't use the microphone that comes with it, I record from the computer. You might have a hard time at first when pressing the play and record buton, because they won't stay down, you have to press really hard so they can stay down.

    Recipient thrilled!

    This was purchased for a couple in their 80's. They had a lot of cassette tapes, but their old boom box was broken. It's almost impossible to find cassette players in a store. I purchased this for them and they are both filled with joy over it. To my younger ears, the sound is inferior to a CD player or an Alexa, but they feel like the sound is amazing. It's also extremely easy for them to use. Based on their high level of satisfaction, I would recommend this cassette player.
