The J300 Microcassette recorder is compact, stylish and loaded with features. Voice actuator begins recording with the detection of voice, and stops when the voice does. The fast play mode lets you listen 25% faster than the normal speed. Its dual tape speed function can record for up to three hours on a 90-minute microcassette tape. Due to its small size and ergonomic design, it is effortless while carrying around.

    I had an issue which was of no blame to the seller. The courier drop the item upon delivery. I actually heard the bang. The glass doors was smashed. I immediately notified the seller. Within 30 minutes I received reply. I sent photos as proof and to allow the seller to claim against courier. He apologised and immediately refunded me.     Clear sound, compact, and easy to use

    The sound on the Olympus J300 Pearlcorder is clearer and has less background noise than some digital recorders. It has all the features that you need to record anything you wish. Although it doesn't have the telephone connector or microphone, these can still be found if you need them.There is a counter to keep track of your recordings, just be careful not to accidentally reset it. The only downside for me was the stiffness of the rewind/fast forward switch. I have problems with my thumbs so I found this a problem, but I shouldn't think that it would be a problem to those without thumb issues. This item has been a good buy for me and my family. It is very hand and has also led to discovering the content of old recordings.

    Review of recorder

    The recorder is in excellent condition and works, however the micro cassette is not standard size and therefore means that standard transcription machines cannot use it !! 😠
