    Good value and performance.

A good product that is still useful for gaming on desktop PC's. Also provides support for modern displays and features a full sized hdmi port for sound and video. With 2GB's of onboard memory it can handle most game titles. The boost to overall PC performance is excellent. Another improvement is the card only requires one power connection to the power supply. Newer games do struggle on it at high resolutions with high texture settings but can be resolved by playing games in lower resolutions or turning the settings to medium or low. Another downside is the blower fan and covered heatsink fins are difficult to clean manually without taking the card apart. I would like to see a card that is designed so that the housing can be opened by a latch to make getting to the dust gathering sections easier and without having to remove the heatsink from the circuit board.

    not any better, just bigger

this video card is no better then it's predecessor the GTX 550ti 2gb. i had a EVGA Geforce GTX 55Ti 2 gb card in my acer predator and it worked great. but after I bought 'Call of Duty Infinite Warfare' I needed to install a GTX 660 2gb for the game to run. i pulled out my GTX 550 and installed the GTX 660. the GTX 660 is about 2 inches longer then the GTX 550. not that big of a deal but it overlaps where my hard drive cables plug into the motherboard. I had to unplug 2 of my hard drive because of issues with the cables not allowing the video card to not seat properly. after getting the card installed and working, I found NO difference in performance. the screen resolution changed. you must set the GTX on MAX resolution or the screen is blurry. noticeably blurry. all in all, it's not a bad card. it does the job.but it's not worth the hype.

  • Good video card really enjoying the power over the 9800gt I had

This video card is awesome I haven't pushed it to the max as it can be matched using the sli bridge but it handles anything I throw at it which is a huge improvement over my 9800gt

  • Amazing Bridge GPU!

Excellent product for what it is. When this model of GPU was new; it was a $230 model (8 years ago) but surprisingly it still plays many titles quite well. For what these are going for they are an excellent value as a bridge GPU (we're waiting for the Nvidia 3000 series to become more readily available) or someone that doesn't mind things not being as smooth and super high FPS.

  • Awesome Card!!!!!!!

Well wei score is 8.2 Temps get up to around 80C which isn't to bad I guess. This will rock everything you throw at it. I'm currently running everything on high @ 1600x900 With 60+ FPS Highly recommend getting this. To the guy that was saying this card is horrible. If you go to userbenchmark This card is 125% Faster than the 550 Ti and I have both cards and he's wrong
