Reliable, with good throughput, cheap and cheerful.
Works reliably, ~600Mbps throughput with my Dell laptop when copying from local file server. Older hardware version, not all 5GHz channels are available. Firmware last update in 2018. Still 3 times cheaper than retail price where I live. I use bridged to wired gigabit Ethernet.

Bad quality for speed of internet
Shopping without any installation info. I have to search Google to get installation info. Installation is easy. WiFi singnal is OK, look better than my router signal. But I check my smartphone to test download speed only 2-3M, direct connet my router download speed test 20-30M. I will don't use it! Poor product.

D-Link DAP-1620 AC 1200Mbps
Easy to setup. Has been working for a week with no problems. I use the WPS buttons to set it up with no problems. I was a little disappointed with the reception. It's only about 20 feet from the router down the hall and 10 feet from my living room but will only give about three bars. This close I had expected it to deliver a full four bars. I was already getting three bars without it. ???

Good enough
This item works well enough. I was hoping for an extender that would allow our devices to "hop" from our main router to this extended AP, but this extender broadcasts its own SSIDs that are copies of the original router SSIDs. Sometimes this extender has issues reestablishing connection after our router powers off for the night and powers back on. This is a good device for the cost.

Needs a setup card that has correct info!
The setup card that came with the unit was totally useless. I could not get wireless access with the info on the card. I had to use a LAN cable in order to get access. I was then able to setup the unit and it now appears to work well.

Discontinued product with no customer help from the manufacturer.
I tried to link the product but the instuctions did not help me. I called Dlink and they diverted me to some bogus online help who tried to get into my computer and sell their service. Online chat with D-link told me the product is discontinued and no customer service is available. I reset the device to factory setting but now both channels (2.4 and 5) are under the same name. So I am frustrated.

most of the time is at 2 bar , occasional it go down to 1 bar ,sometime it go to maximum of 3 bar , i guess it depend on the time of the day. fairly easy to set up.
