Get the 2x8gb kit if you want performance.
Works OK if your system is compatible. Unfortunately it did not work in any of the amd boards I had although they are capable of well above 2133 MHz RAM.. Causes no-start black screen in all my amd systems. A lot of ddr3-era boards, especially non-z chipsets, are limited to 1600mhz (like BM85 chipsets), so the full benefit of this RAMs speed is not seen in many boards, Compatibility:-- Intel only. If you have only 4 slots, 16gb x 4 will perform much better overall
