Item is easy to install, no drivers, easy to use, just plug in your old PS/2 device and hot swap into any USB Port. Just make sure you plug the old PS/2 device in first because PS/2 is not hot swappable where as USB is. I purchased an older Dell Optiplex not realizing it did not have any PS/2 connectors and read reviews that said many of these devices did not work but this unit worked FLAWLESSLY. I use an older Keyboard called a WAVE KEYBOARD to avoid carpal tunnel. I've been working with computers for over 30 years I am here to say once you use a wave keyboard and get use to it, you will never use anything else. I just know that I've used this wave keyboard for over 15 years and the boards they sell today are crap in comparison. As I opened, this is an Excellent solution if you still use PS/2 devices and you either don't have the connectors or you want to be able to Hot Swap them, this is the product for YOU... Cheers, Paul...Read full review

I have three PCs (of varying ages) installed on my home WiFi which in turn is connected (via TWC) to the internet. The oldest (maybe 15yrs) is a DELL Desktop XP with the PS/2 keyboard for which the purchased adapter was intended. This PC is used almost 100% for viewing TV programs via the internet. As such its PS/2 KB is rarely used and is just collecting dust. The next oldest (prox 10yrs) is a DELL Desktop Vista with a USB keyboard. It is installed in my office and is the true 'workhorse' PC in my household. During the daytime hours it is used mostly for email and almost all of the household business. Its USB KB get heavy usage - every day. The newest PC is the HP Laptop WIN7 with the typical unwieldy 'built in' KB. I use this PC in the TV room, on the back deck, and in my office. Maybe twice a day I 'borrow' the USB keyboard from the Office DELL Vista PC. I know I can buy another USB keyboard at a yard sale for maybe $5 ......so cost is not an issue. Rather the issue is. Recycling/reusing the 'dust collecting' PS/2 keyboard as a USB keyboard on the HP Laptop. So - with that goal in mind I decided to order your pack of two PS/2 - USB adapters. Needless to say I was very enthusiastic before delivery ...... then badly disappointed when NEITHER of the two adapters would work. When one fails I can accept that “maybe 1 in 100 might be DOA “ .... but the 2nd of 2 DOA spells trouble. My expectation is for your company to pre-test two replacements and mail to me ASAP. Your offer to refund the small purchase amount is not really worthwhile to consider. My ethics guide me in this issue. If your company is selling this product a refund is not appropriate. Your company should either be able to deliver a working product or stop selling the nonworking product. So what I want is what I ordered - delivery of a working adapter - not my money back.Read full review

I understood that some of these PS2 to USB converters did not work on Win 10 and some were of very poor quality. I researched problems on some Win 10 computers and discovered that a "Regedit" value hadto be turned on to have them work sometimes. Ordered two of these, as I rebuild and donate computers, and have many PS2 items. First of all these came early and worked immediately on my Win 10 Dell. Then I tried it on HP Win 10 computer and had to use "Regedit" fix and they worked fine. What more can I say. Can't be more happier.

I plugged it into my HP Win10 USB 2 port. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Frustrating. I tried a USB 3 port and SUCCESS. It has performed flawlessly since. Maybe this will work for others. Good luck.

I don't know why doesn't work. I plug ps/2 keyboard cable to adapter then adapter to Lenovo M58 computer USB, wait some time, restart Windows 8.1 x64 couple times, turn on/off computer two times, but nothing happened. Don't show anything in device manager and I giveit up.
