Genie limit switch...works fantastic
If you notice your garage door top bar bending when the door goes fully up or down there is a good chance your limit switch is broken. It has 1 wire hookup and is easy to replace and once in place the door stops where it should....great stuff and truly affordable too !!!

Limit Switch Review
The only thing wrong with this product is the screw hole to mount the limit switch to the rail. The hole is not threaded. You could either tap the hole or muscle the screw into hole. I just muscled the screw into the hole while I was on the ground just to get it started. Once I got the screw started I went up on the ladder and installed the limit switch tighting the screw the rest of the way to the rail. Other then that product works great!!!👍🏻The only thing wrong with this product is the screw hole to mount the limit switch to the rail. The hole is not threaded. OEM at a reasonable price
This is an actual OEM part but at a much more reasonable price than other parts stores or Genie products dealers. After installing the switch on my 28 year old opener, it once again operated as perfectly as it did on day one!

Little Item But Very Important
This little item which appears insignificant is a very important part of my Genie Garage door opener. By replacing the old part, I saved a lot of money by not having to buy a new garage door opener or having the old one repaired.

Simple to install
My garage door would go back up automatically when closing. I had to wait for it to close and manually power off or it it would rise again. This was the problem part and I replaced it in less than a minute.
