Requires foam as glued to the original leather trim, not authentic
The original trim has foam glued firmly to the back of the leather and there is no way to separate this for re-use. So for the original cushioned feel of the handrest the person applying this leather trim will need to source this foam material as well. Stitching is different than Volvo trim, Color slightly lighter in tone than a typical aged interior. A person is better off waiting for good 2nd hand or even NOS handrests to surface on the market. One could argue a way to apply this trim is to glue it over the existing leather, but still.. the result would hardly be the original touch. I thought I just mention it.The original trim has foam glued firmly to the back of the leather and there is no way to separate this for re-use.
