This is the second adapter I purchased from this site. It works well, hold firm to the GPS, and locks positively into the mount. I used my Garmin 62 on my dual purpose motorcycle for a ride through the Rockies in early spring when temps were still below freezing even though the snow was gone. The release tab broke as I pulled the GPS from the mount during a rest stop. I attributed the break to the freezing temps. The adapter still worked and held the GPS for the remainder of the trip without it.
