The attack control knob on the MXR SuperComp M132 compresses high-level peak transients such as drum hits or guitar slaps. The ratio knob on this guitar effect pedal determines the change in the output level that results from a particular input level.     I really like this pedal. Built like a tank. Easy to use, very quiet and sonically great. The controls work well and with a little experimenting it's pretty easy to find the sound you're looking for!
