Dapol are filling an important niche in the market. The ex Kitmaster range covers a period that is past and models of that period are few. This garage fits perfectly into that post WW2 period that I am covering on my model railway. Full marks to Dapol for continuing this range. Be aware that some of the production molds are now quite old and can result in the odd blemish or extra flash, but this in no way detracts from the product. I am certainly pleased with the finished model.

This is a reissue of the old Aifix kit, it must be over 50 years since I first builtone of these. . I bought a couple more last year for a project, it is still as good as I remembered it, a good solid simple model that assembles well. Lots of conversion possibilities, this time it was to make a small factory unit in a WW2 diorama. Over the years I have used this kit to make extensions to houses, garden sheds, military buildings etc, the corrigated roof pieces being particularly useful. The plastic is good, it takes glue well and it ieasy to cut and convert. Recommended.

This is good value and fun to make as well. Made these as a child when they were Airfix and enjoying them now. All you need is polystyrene glue, a craft knife and then paint them how you like and they look great. I have made several Dapol kits for my model railway and have been pleased with each of them.

This kit was originally made by Airfix and is now under production from Dapol, very useful for diorama settings in 1/72 scale and can cover a role within the last 50 years , It really looks the part when painted up .
