Infinite loop on a desert island

When Lost aired, I was one of the many who didn't care much for the ending. So, I had all seasons on disk except the last. Rewatching the series now put a lot of things in story perpective, including the ending. Owning the sixth season now is necessary. With distance and time I found the finale to be what it probably had to be, a resolution that both takes you back to the opening sequence of the pilot and leaves you with the same unanswered question--guys, where are we?

  • Riddles Wrapped In Mysteries Hidden Inside Enigmas! (paraphrasing Churchill)

One of the most enigmatic series ever done. Slowly but surely peeling away layer after layer of lies, deceit, and skullduggery all in the name of Einstein and space time but surely one of the most engaging television events of all time. The characters are drawn with care and the beginning is one of the hallmarks of television writing and the fact that the quality is consistently kept up for the whole six years is amazing. Only Rod Serling and the Twilight Zone can compare, with the big difference being that Twilight Zone stories were stand alone episodes and Lost is a serialized story stretching out over six seasons. A plane crashes, people are stranded on an island, and at first only survival matters, then things begin to happen. I wouldn't spoil the fun of enjoying this from the very ...

  • A great way to wind up a great series.

This is one of the best shows of the last 25 years. Back before streaming took over, when US broadcast networks spent whatever was necessary to win. “Lost” was having all of the planets line up-acting, writing, directing and production.

  • Top Series of all time

This is a great series and I watched all of the seasons within 2 months, once you start one you can help but get addicted. This show brings the viewer in like no other, the acting is great and real. The best characters in my opinion are LOCKE, SAWYER,SAYID,JACK,CHARLIE,AND HUGO.Television is not the same as it used to be, but this series definitely gives me faith as it raises the bar and beats out some of the older drama/action series of the past.Easily on of the best showto bless a television.Do yourself a service and get this in bluray, the quality is unbeat it plays in 1080p @ 24 which is the best available.oh yea, start from season 1. It will be impossible to understand or fully enjoy the series if not. I don't think anyone starts a series out of sequence because that doesnt make sense.

  • It is a Five star rating!

I haven't got that far yet but thre rest are great and I just know the last well be as good if not better than the others!
