I needed to add fiber capabilities to a Cisco 3750 switch. After purchasing the fiber module I needed these transceivers to enable fiber connections. In my case the fiber in multi-mode. Looking at several listings these appeared to be what I needed as a reasonable price. Even though they were very clean they arrived without the black rubber protectors in the fiber ends. I used compressed air to just make sure there was no dust in either the fiber side or the switch side of the units. After install I attached my fiber cables and everything worked to perfection. All units were genuine Cisco and had matching part numbers. If you need transceivers for expansion or as replacements, these would work fine.
