This Wilson 5000 Hi-Power Magnet Mount CB Radio Antenna provides powerful signal collection with a 62.5-inch whip. It features a coil design that prevents signal loss, and it's configured to pick up the Weather Channel. The antenna can pick up signals between 26MHz and 30MHz. A thermoplastic body protects the unit from damage, and the coil can be removed for storage or entering a garage. The whip is stainless steel and features a 17-7 PH tapered spring design.

    The best magnet mount antenna

    I used to have one back in the 90s and it was great then and now that I'm keying up again I knew which antenna I wanted. I did install it and out of the box the swr was low but was able to lower it even more just love this antenna

    Not worth the money

    Spent the money expecting to get an antenna that I could match the SWR closely to 1.1 to 1. Best I could get this was 1.4 center band. What was really a waste of money is that I also bought the short whip for this antenna and that was untunable! The lowest SWR I could obtain was 2 to 1 that is totally unacceptable! Wilson claims their antennas can handle high power loads. If you try to run any big power through the both I got you can say goodbye to your finals!

    Disappointed Wilson 5000

    Just received my Wilson 5000 today. As a Ham operator and previous owner of Wilson antennas for many years i was really disappointed with my new antenna. The swr will not go below a 4. Tried everything to no avail.
