Having spent a fortune on organic bread flour trying to make a sour dough starter from scratch and failing miserably I called it a day and felt this was probably a safe and hygienic source to buy from. I wish I had gone down this route from the start! Works brilliantly and having made my first few sourdough loaves I can definitely recommend it.

After spending a couple of days feeding the starter I made bread. What I ended up with was wonderful tasting sourdough bread which is proving very popular. And of course I have a really good sourdough starter in my fridge now ready for next time.

It arrived well sealed and rose immediately as I fed it rye flour and water. I made pizza with it and rye bread (leave it to rise for 4/6 hours to avoid doughy bread). I m enjoying it very much. Thanks
