These are a quick and easy audio amplifier solution for a variety of home projects. I use these for audio stages in homemade short-wave receivers, and they perform great. The only downside to these is they come shipped all stuck together on one circuit board and it requires quite a bit of effort to separate them. I was really afraid of damaging them and popping some of the surface mount devices off the board they took so much effort to snap apart.

The unit is simple to use and the PC board is correctly marked as to the purpose of the connections. One minor point worth knowing about is that the potentiometer increases volume with counter-clockwise movement. Also, the units seem to be shipped with the adjustment set to loud. It was easily loud enough to drive a CB external speaker to a wake-the-wife-up-in-the-next-room levels. My application was to monitor the audio signal going into a 1200 baud modem for a TARPN packet radio node. I soldered the amp into a prototyping board to interface to an IDC ribbon cable.

Great little circuit board. A 200 multiplier is probably way more gain than most will need. Requires very little drive input. Easy to drive it into the distortion if the input is very high. Would buy more if the need arises. Only thing I can say negatively is there was no max wattage power rating listed to know what the max speaker you can use. However that is not the products fault. Great Item !

Maybe I am ignorant but I could find no socket for the four pins power/audio in. Had to solder so really fine wires. Required 3x magnification to do so. Will required some kind of enclosure to keep em from breaking. Works fine though once connected up.
