Battery not as good as some. So just charge it. Tendency to get warm/hot on charger and updating when doing factory reset. After reset, seems to be better. Nice feature to nearly clone your old phone, thus saving much time. Although it did take about 8 hours to do from factory reset. I don't need a laptop sized phone, so this fits the bill nicely. Would like to have a replacable battery, but, such is life. Camera is very good. Good upgrade from the m8.

Very good phone but I was not happy about people selling phone that belonged to ATT (Model: 0pja110), flashed with wrong firmware to get it unlocked and selling it as T-Mobile version which is more expensive. The correct T-Mobile version is 0pja120 for those who are interested else you will be getting Edge services most of the time. Yes the phone works but bands are missing and no Wifi Calling/VOLTE.

I like the operating system, but the phone has a tendency to become VERY hot with high usage or usage while charging. I quite often use it as a GPS (I drive for a living) and the battery drain is quicker than with both my previous M7 and M8. While I could use both of those phones all day with the power saver enabled and brightness lowered to 2 of 3, the same cannot be said of the M9. It usually lasts 2/3 to 3/4 of the day. I am NOT a gamer other than WWF, so this surprises me. Also, sometimes the operating system gets laggy with mutliple windows open. I've also experienced more dropped calls in the first month with the M9 than the previous year with the M8. I paid $350 for a NIB phone.

Purchase to to avoid getting locked into new contract with my carriers for a reasonably priced phone. The M9 has held up well and include a memory SD slot. Only down side is the camera (good, not great) and the speaker phone sometimes drops out from time to time and I have to switch off and back on to resolve the problem

This is a nice phone with a very good display. It is fast browsing and running apps. The "but" is that the camera leaves a lot to be desired. It claims to be a 20 megapixel camera but is not even comparable to the 13 megapixel camera on my old galaxy s5. Pics are fuzzy and have poor color saturation.
