Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Receivers
This is a decent receiver but unfortunately similar to many newer receivers unless you have the original remote control you can not preset the radio stations. The bottons in front are hard to read and locate and scarce to begin with. Overall not very intuitive or user-friendly. BUT it sounds fine. I personally like the older model Sony DA-90 ESG with similar output much better and the same price range.

THIS IS ABOUT THE BEST YOU CAN GET IN HOME THEATER RECEIVERS. 110W WATTS RMS INTO ALL 7 CHANNELS. MORE SURROUND SOUND AND DIGITAL PROCESSING FIELD THAN YOU CAN SHAKE A STICK. CLOSE TO 50LBS, BUILT LIKE A TANK. THERE REALLY IS NOT A RECEIVER OUT THERE THAT CAN DO MORE AND DO IT BETTER THAN THE STR-DA4ES. YOU CAN ADJUST SIZE AND POSITION OF EVERY SPEAKER ALONG WITH FREDQUENCY CUT-OFFS (LIKE A CROSSOVER). THE EQ HAS 3 BANDS AND YOU CAN VARY THE 3 BANDS ACROSS A MYRIAD OF FREQUENCIES. THE ONLY GLITCH IS A REDICULOUS TO USE REMOTE, SOME LOVE THE REMOTE, I THINK ITS AN ERGONOMIC BLUNDER. BUY A LEARNING REMOTE AND TRAIN IT TO THE FUNCTIONS YOU USE. IT MAY TAKE YOU A FEW DAYS TO LEARN HOW TO WORK AND ADJUST EVERY OPTION THIS RECEIVER HAS TO OFFER, BUT ITS WORTH IT ONCE YOU MASTER IT.
It came without a power cord. I was lucky enough to have one, but other than that it sounds pretty good.
